报告题目： Causality bounds on effective field theories

摘要：

Recent years have seen significant progress in our understanding of the parameter spaces of effective field theories. These results, known as causality or positivity bounds, are obtained by merely using some of the most fundamental properties of quantum field theory such as causality, unitarity and locality. In this talk, I will review some of the recent progress in developing the formalism as well as applications of these bounds to the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) and so on.

报告人简介：

中国科学技术大学教授，从事量子场论、引力及粒子物理等方面（特别是交叉方向）的研究。2001 至 2008 年先后在永兴集团官网导航app获得学士与硕士学位，2012年获诺丁汉大学博士学位；2012 至 2017 年先后在 SISSA，Case Western Reserve University和Imperial College London从事博士后研究。已发表论文 50 余篇，被引用 3000 余次。2017 年受邀为 Reviews of Modern Physics 撰写关于引力子质量的综述文章。2022 年受邀为美国物理学会粒子与场分部撰写关于紫外对红外物理约束的白皮书。2018 年起受邀担任 Elsevier 旗下杂志 Results in Physics 的编委。
